Tri-State Occupational Health, a joint venture of Medical Associates and Mercy Medical Center, is seeking a motivated professional for a full time position as the TSOH Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Coordinator. This position will work Monday thru Friday 8:00am-5:00pm in addition to some on-call responsibility for afterhours drug and alcohol screening/collection in Acute Care or Mercy ER. This position will provide all functions related to the Drug and Alcohol Program; drug and alcohol testing collection as well as managing a consortium database and developing, coordinating and delivery of training as it relates to drug and alcohol testing and in accordance with Federal and State guidelines.
Perform Drug and Alcohol testing collections, process results in accordance with company policies and federal regulations. Assist MRO with all follow-up. Provide drug/alcohol collection services for wide array of companies.
Assess and maintain accurate company profiles and necessary supplies to provide drug/alcohol collection services.
Manage consortium database for client needs/activities and manage computer data entry in compliance with regulatory specifications.
Act as main resource/contact for drug and alcohol program. Account service responsibility from new client setup through establishing/maintaining positive client relationships. Development, coordination and delivery of training and education of clients and staff. Provides onsite supervisory training and staff training in drug/alcohol testing.
Manage schedule and training for after hours drug and alcohol collection services as well as providing necessary training and education of co workers.
Perform venipuncture, collect other lab specimens and properly identify and label and handle ab specimens.
Comply with federal and state laws in equipment, training, education and record maintenance/QA. Maintain lab upkeep and monitor outside services in cost effective manne
Complete all other assigned projects and duties.
