The Sinsinawa Dominicans employ approximately 150 people in occupations ranging from accounting, clerical, food service, graphic design, housekeeping, human resources, maintenance, nursing, and public relations.
Responsibilities: Acts as archivist in the absence of the archivist; oversees archives finances i.e. cash accounts, purchases, transfer funds, etc; assists with archival procedures such as assessing, accessioning, inventorying, processing and preserving; maintains membership records; keeps current obituary files; collects and maintains the annals of the Congregation’s missions; process documents related to current ministries; assists with research inquiries; maintains creative works records; assists in developing digital materials for variety of audiences
Requirements: MLIS or MA in archival management, history or related subject; three to five years archival experience, preferably with religious archives; familiarity with archival procedures, methods, materials and organizations; excellent computer and clerical skills.
