What You Will be Doing:
Collaborate with health care team using phone triage decision making tools and protocols to direct/perform nursing assessment and intervention.
Assist providers and co-workers with collecting and assessing information, medical procedures such as IM injections, telephonic nurse support and independent assessment for patients with behavior health needs, coordinating and carrying out diverse patient care plans and services, including pharmacy refills and monitoring of narcotics.
Collaborate with community members including police, schools, social workers, hospital, and ER.
What Your Schedule Will Look Like:
Full-time (40 hours), Mon-Fri, day hours mostly between 7:30am-5:00pm
What Skills or Experiences Do You Need to Be Considered?
- Registered Nurse license (Iowa)
What Sets You Apart From Others:
- Behavioral health experience in clinic or hospital preferred, but not required
- Adaptive to change and collaborative work style
- Strong telephonic triage skills
