The Employee Health & Safety Nurse Coordinator administers programs that support Mercy's employee health & safety programs. This includes employee health screenings, immunizations, fit testing, safety, worker’s compensation, FMLA and health education). Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Employee Health & Safety department. Reports to Human Resources.
Must have current RN license. Three or more years of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership experience are necessary to be successful in this position. Occupational health and workers' compensation claim management experience preferred. Safety experience beneficial. Occupational health nurse certification ideal or willingness to pursue. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have aptitude to learn new software programs.
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and as needed. This position does not require weekends or holidays.
