- Research, establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
- Prepares balance sheet, income statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position
- Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledgers
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 2-5 years of advanced level accounting experience with a thorough understanding of accounting processes and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Some understanding of accounting rules related to financial institutions is preferred
