The nursing director of the Family Birthing Suites is responsible for the oversight of the Family Birthing Suites and Suite Beginnings. The nursing director works with other leaders to ensure the overall performance and outcomes, both financial and clinical, of the units and corresponding programs. The director ensures that the strategic plan for the unit is implemented through the daily operational plan. The director is responsible to hire and manage all nursing personnel associated with the units and programs and holds 24-hour accountability to ensure that the needs of the population served are met safely.
Must have an Iowa Registered Nurse Licensure issued with the Iowa Board of Nursing. Must have 5 years of experience in Women's Services Family Birthing. Previous leadership experience is required.
