Position Involves the Ability to Perform the Following: Processing 1. Utilizes record keeping system to complete the following: • Processes contributions for Retirement Plans and/or other plans as required such as MIRA’s. • Processes Compliance testing contributions and brings data into the current plan year. • Analyze and import census data into Relius. • Analyze a plan document and correspondence for eligibility, vesting, plan entry, and investment options, etc. • Enters enrollment forms, including beneficiary and investment data on a timely basis to ensure participants are eligible for participation in the Retirement Plan when appropriate. • Analyze investment election requests received from participants and follow through accordingly. • Processes loan payments for Retirement Plans. • Calculates loan payoff amounts, and processes loan discharges. • Responsible for working closely with Vendors for our Compliance Plus product to insure timely and accurate processing of enrollments, contributions and/or distributions. • On a monthly and quarterly basis assists in the balancing of the self-directed accounts maintained within the 401(k) Retirement Plans. • Processes quarterly loan fees for the Retirement Plans and/or other plans as required. • Assist with contribution tracking and calculation of earnings. • Review of forfeitures and insures they are used correctly and timely • Ensures participant census data is kept up to date and accurate. • Sending appropriate paperwork and tracking of Leave of Absence for outstanding loans. • Prepares and maintains departmental files. • Review returned mail and update appropriately. • Performs other duties as required or assigned. Skills & Abilities: • Ability to operate a PC, calculator, copy machine, typewriter, telephone, fax machine • Ability to work with Relius Administration, Trust System, Access, Word and Excel. • Possess the following skills: o Ability to work in a team environment. o Strong problem solving and analytical skills. o Ability to manage complex situations, and handle multiple projects. • Able to react productively to change Minimum Level of Preparation: Education: • High school diploma. Post-secondary education a plus. • Two or more years of clerical experience preferred.
