Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing the preparation of individual, fiduciary, business, gift and estate tax returns. Previous experience with fiduciaries, partnerships, S-corps, and tax resolution work desired. Also responsible for internal bookkeeping, auditing, and reconciliations.
Experienced CPA preferred or a minimum of 5 years tax preparation experience.

- Prepare and review tax returns.
- Assist in hiring and training of seasonal tax interns.
- Accuracy a must.
- Attention to detail.
- Remain updated on changes in tax law and current tax practices.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.
This is primarily a sedentary role. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Days and hours of the office are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nights and weekends as needed for the position, particularly during tax season.
No travel is expected for this position.
- CPA preferred; or
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in preparing, reviewing and filing tax returns.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
