Medical Associates Clinic, located in Dubuque, Iowa is seeking a Psychologist (Ph.D./Psy.D.) to join our well-established, thriving multidisciplinary practice in the Department of Psychiatry & Psychology.
This full-time generalist position primarily consists of individual outpatient assessment and psychotherapy, with occasional opportunities for inpatient consultation. Our core team consists of 5 Licensed Psychologists that offer a variety of scope and diversity in their practice and 5 RNs. The Psychologists have ~36 patient contact hours per week--our offices are physically connected to the hospital for any inpatient opportunities and privledges. This position does not involve night/weekend/call hours.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide psychological services, including diagnostic assessment and psychotherapeutic intervention. Additional roles may include therapy addressing relationship or family concerns, group therapy, psychological assessment, and/or cognitive testing, dependent upon individual areas of interest, experience, and competence. (85%)
Consult with outpatient providers, within and outside the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology. (5%)
Provide psychological services for medical or psychiatric inpatients, as needed. (5%)
Complete all other assigned projects and duties, including reports, administrative tasks and attending meetings. (5%)
Experience Desired: ~1-3 years of Postdoctoral Psychology experience.
Education/Licensure: PhD or PsyD, licensed to practice and willing to obtail Iowa license. Interested candidates must be licensed or license eligible in Iowa and be listed on the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
