Overview
Work hours will be days, Monday through Friday, with varying start times, for 32 hours per pay period, and as needed. You will be required to flex to other shifts as needed. There is an on-call, holiday rotation to help cover drug screens.
Finley's Occupational Health team is an extension of the employer's workforce. Duties include: work comp care, initial triage, injury and follow-up care; breath alcohol screening, drug screening, hearing screening, spirometry testing; respiratory fit testing, vaccinations, employer educational programs, and variousl other occupational health clinic services. Required certifications are provided by Finley Occupational Health.
Responsibilities
Provides nursing care for patients with actual or potential health care problems using the nursing process. Plans and directs the nursing care for individuals, patients, groups of patients and their families, coordinating care in collaboration with other health care professionals. Duties include implementing health screens, performing drug and alcohol testing, providing health education to clients and their employees, and more.
Qualifications
Must hold an active license to practice nursing in the state of Iowa. The position requires at least an Associate's degree in nursing. RN employees are required to have or obtain a BSN within five years after their start date with UnityPoint Health - Finley Hospital.
