Occupational Therapy Assistant

- Associate Degree or two-year degree program required from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
- License in the state of Wisconsin as an Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
- Certification with the National Board in Occupational Therapy required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
We are seeking a Occupational Therapy Assistant to work part-time (32 hours/week) in our Therapy department within our Nursing Home, Epione Pavilion, in Cuba City, WI.
The Occupational Therapy Assistant implements occupational therapy services primarily for nursing home residents, but could also assist with inpatients, outpatients, SBS, and home health patients/residents. The COTA works under the supervision of an occupational therapist, with services including treatment, standardized assessments, and documentation. The occupational therapist assistant may modify an intervention only in accordance with changes in patient/resident status and within the scope of the plan of care that has been established by the occupational therapist.
