Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) serves the transfer, career and technical education needs of our region’s residents, businesses and industries in a district area that encompasses eight counties and approximately 5,000 sq. miles. BS in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or Early Care and Education required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children birth to five years of age in group settings. Flexibility to teach evening classes and complete field supervision visits according to the students’ schedules. Sound computer proficiency required.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is a part time adjunct instructor position in the Early Childhood Education Certificate program. Primary duties are course instruction in both face-to-face and class formats and field experience supervision. Some travel is required to visit students in field experience sites. Position to begin in April 2019.
