Rainbo is a growing company with over 95 years of experience in Lubricants and almost 50 years in the Convenience Store industry.

The Marketing Manager should demonstrate:

A day in the life - Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the leaders to strategically lead and grow the business
  • Creating and executing a marketing plan that spurs sales and brand growth for the warehouses, convenience stores and restaurants in tune with the Business Unit Managers
  • Developing and implementing a brand strategy
  • Developing and implementing strategies for new and existing services
  • Planning online, printed, and direct mail marketing materials
  • Managing social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
  • Maintain relations with the community by determining company presence at local events, conventions, and reinforce brand awareness and the importance of giving back
  • Winning the trust & respect of the team members


Measurements:   How will we know if the Director of Marketing is doing a great job?

  • Increase in number of promotions and customer touches for lubricant warehouses that turns into an increase in gallons sold
  • Increase in predetermined percentage of inside store sales due to targeted marketing efforts
  • Increase in social media engagement
  • Increase in number of individuals participating in events and promotions within the stores and restaurants


 Requirements:  You should:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • Have at least 3 years of experience and success in marketing and managing promotions
  • Have at least 3 years of social media and digital marketing experience
  • Have excellent communication, creativity and presentation skills
  • Be independent, performance driven and ready to participate in multiple business units
  • Be professional, outgoing, enjoy networking and have a great attitude
  • Be able to create and develop marketing plans for several different locations and business units
  • Have an eagerness to continually learn and adapt to change
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Be fluent in the use of marketing technology
