Parts Room Coordinator Duties and responsibilities
Management of the storeroom (no maintenance parts / services are ordered / received without their knowledge)
The security of the parts room that is highly organized to include other areas that house large ticket items
Submits Requisitions for PO’s and ensures that PO’s are approved before purchases and services
Parts room and plant receiving is done on time and put in correct location same days as delivery
Receiving inventory counts are accurate to what is ordered and on the packing lists
Develop SOP to ensure maintenance technicians follow a clear process to ensure recording of parts received / removed from inventory during off shifts
Continuously improve the parts room processes and procedures to become world class.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, stores or inventory management, military operations, or parts warehouse
- Willing and able to pull and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Willing and able to climb ladders and stairs
- Willing and able to work overtime including Saturdays
- Willing and able to be trained to safely operate material handling equipment
- Experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Preferred Qualifications:
What will put you ahead?
- Three (3) years or more of experience in a manufacturing, stores or inventory management, military operations, or parts warehouse environment
- Experience with inventory management software
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) parts
