Full-time Faculty in Health Wellness and Sport

The University of Dubuque invites applications for a Full-time Faculty position in the Department of Health Wellness and Sport beginning as early as January, 2020. The department seeks a qualified faculty member with expertise in Sport Management.  Preferred qualifications include an earned doctorate in Sport Management or related field and significant teaching experience.  The successful candidate will have the ability to teach a range of sport management courses in both Graduate and Undergraduate programs. Topics may include sociology, facility and event management, marketing, media relations, law, leadership and athletic administration).  The regular teaching load for this position is 4 courses in both fall and spring with the potential for summer teaching opportunities.  Additional expectations include advising students, pursuing ongoing scholarship in the discipline, and participating in the broader life of the University.
