Medical Associates is hiring a full-time Phlebotomist to work in the Laboratory Department. No prior training or experience required!
The ideal candidate enjoys working at a fast pace and can manage their time accordingly, has outstanding communication skills, is able to multi-tasks with high attention to detail, and is always willing to go above and beyond to provide outstanding patient care.
Schedule: This position will work day shifts with varying start and end times anywhere from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. This position does include a minimal Saturday rotation. 40 hours/week, full-benefits eligible!
Location: shifts will rotate being scheduled at the East and West Campus Lab departments.
Experience: Previous phlebotomy experience a plus, willing to train an individual who is eager to learn and thrive in this position!
Collect laboratory specimens from patients of all age groups and instruct patients for special laboratory testing.
Perform venipuncture, arterial pucnturespunctures and capillary fingersticks or heelsticks punctures; collect other laboratory specimens; instruct patients of all ages on collections of laboratory specimens; and properly identify and label laboratory specimens.
Access and create patient orders; and perform data entry of laboratory test results.
Provide back up for receptionists duties as required.
