Director of SBS Inpatient
- Must be a registered nurse who has a master's degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing, or its equivalent from a school of nursing accredited by the National League for Nursing, or be qualified by education and experience in the care of the mentally ill.
- Must demonstrate competence to participate in interdisciplinary formulation of individual treatment plans; to give skilled nursing care and therapy; and to direct, monitor, and evaluate the nursing care furnished.
- Previous experience with medical informatics preferred.
- Experience with process improvement and prior managerial experience preferred with demonstrated administrative and leadership ability.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
We are seeking a Director of SBS Inpatient to work full-time, Monday-Friday.
The Director of SBS Inpatient, under the direction of the CCO, is responsible for providing overall leadership and management for the Inpatient Behavioral Health department and staff. This position is responsible for assuring excellent patient care, customer service, and clinical outcomes. The Director of SBS Inpatient works with staff to plan, develop and implement changes to existing operational and health care processes to meet current and future department needs. Accountable for managing, coordinating and planning patient care and business services functions and activities, which include; assuring that a high quality of patient care and satisfaction standards are achieved, adherence of established medical practice standards and proficiency, accounts receivable and payable. Decision making in order to manage daily functions and work toward continuous improvement in a team environment is a crucial element of this position.
