Payroll Administrator

As a Payroll Administrator, you are responsible for the timely and efficient processing of Hodge payroll. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity on first shift. 

Essential Duties:  Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
  • Process payroll to ensure timely and accurate compensation to employees
  • Assist with employee on-boarding process
  • Respond to employment verification requests
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Track completion of performance evaluations
  • Communicate with employees through e-mail, phone and face-to-face correspondence
  • Occasional travel required
  • Work toward continuous improvement
  • Stay current with changing technology
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures

Reporting to this position:  No direct reports

Qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, the Payroll Administrator must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and ability required.

  • High School Diploma, GED or continuing education
  • Intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Tools)
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Proficient in iSolved and TimeForce, or other personnel and timekeeping software
  • College degree in Business and/or Human Resources
  • Previous payroll or human resource experience
  • Advanced level proficiency (Microsoft Office)
  • Previous management experience
  • PHR or SPHR certification
