UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital is a 126-bed community hospital. We employ more than 800 full-and-part-time employees. We are looking for a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to work in our Homecare Department. Work hours will be on an as needed basis. There is no guaranteed hours for this position with it being PRN, however typical hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The Homecare department does work weekends and takes call.
Under the supervision of the RN Case Manager, the Home Care LPN provides direct patient care and performs technical skilled care to a diverse patient population in their place of residence. The LPN delivers patient care directed by the RN Case Manager in the home health plan of care that is consistent with clinical best practices and results in high quality, improved outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
Must have an active Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse licensure issued by the Iowa Board of Nursing. Must have one year or experience caring for similiar patient population as to be assigned. Must have a valid driver license and automobile insurance as this position does drive.
