The university is seeking a full-time, one year, non-tenure track Visiting Instructor of Education position for the 2019-2020 academic year. This is an interim, one-year appointment that will end in May of 2020. The ideal candidate should have a doctorate in education or related field, a minimum of 3 years teaching in a K-8 setting with special education and/or reading endorsement(s). Candidates who are ABD and/or highly experienced master’s level candidates will be considered.
The Education Department offers the opportunity to teach and study in our Professional Development School (PDS) programs, which include junior and senior level interdisciplinary courses in public and private schools. Majors and areas of study include elementary and special education.
