About the Program

At Hillcrest Family Services, the compassion and extensive experience of our counseling team means we provide a broad range of mental health services and treat a wide array of conditions for individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds at our Mental Health Centers, including:

Your Responsibilities

As a Licensed Psychologist, your primary responsibility includes performing patient care focusing on individual differences, abnormal behavior, mental disorders and their prevention and improvement of patient lifestyles. This is realized through counseling and psychotherapeutic services. . This includes: 

  • Serving as a consultant to other healthcare personnel
  • Evaluating, making recommendations for treatment and counseling children, adolescents and families with intellectual, biological, emotional, psychological, social and behavioral maladjustments, disabilities, distress, mental disorders.
  • Performing psychological assessments, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation of patient/patients of all ages of children and adolescents and their families.
  • Counseling individuals, families, groups and couples
  • Administering psychological tests according to test guidelines and issue reports in a timely manner in a way that recipients are able to understand.
  • Consulting other discipline to provide for a multidisciplinary approach to the patient/patient's needs.

What you need

  • Doctorate from accredited program in professional psychology
  • Licensed or certified as a professional psychologist according to state requirements
  • Board certified in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP)
