The Radiology department at Medical Associates is hiring a full-time Radiology Clerk!
Location: must be flexible to work East and West campus locations.
Schedule: This is currently every 4th weekend. Shifts would be scheduled 7-3:30, 7:30-4, 8-4:30. 40 hours/week, full benefits eligible!
Seeking individuals that have a high attention to detail, enjoy interacting with patients and clinical staff, and are motivated by high-volume and fast-pace work!
Essential Functions Include:
Take patients to dressing area and prepare for exam.
Assist x-ray technologist.
Coordinate reports with mammography schedule.
Scan mammography reports into our PACS system.
Document and track outside patient exams.
Answer telephone calls related to any image requests.
Burn x-ray images to CD or electronically transferring images for outside use.
Fax reports or consents for outside imaging.
Complete all other assigned projects and duties.
Education: high school degree or equivalent.
Experience: some radiology or health care experience preferred.
