As a Claims Coordinator II, you will be a part of our Managed Services team responsible for the audit, presentation, resolution and mitigation of claims with our strategic account customers.  You will be responsible for the subsequent filing of the claims with the intended carrier and resolution of the claim with the carrier, and facilitate disputes and mitigations for payment.  The purpose of this position will be to process each claim to our Client’s requirements.  As the Claims Coordinator II your efforts in working with the carrier and our Clients will ensure the timely processing and mitigation of claims filed.  You will have the responsibility to retrieve claim documents, present each claim to the intended carrier and mitigate claims for payment.  Strong relationships with each carrier’s claims department and our Client’s customers will be needed to successfully meet our Clients expectation on processing and resolution of their claims.  The success of our service to the Client is based upon our ability to provide a high level of customer service, timely filing and successful mitigation of our Clients claims.

Claims Coordinator II Essential Responsibilities

  • Timely filing of claims filed by our Client
  • Knowledge of CARMAK Amendment and claim processing rules within our client’s SOP for mitigation
  • Audit claim information in the TMS for data integrity and timeline measurements of the claim filing
  • Accurately audit documents required for a complete claim to include POD, BOL, Invoice, Photos and other corresponding documents needed to support resolution of the claim
  • Identify and resolve issues related to the filing of the claim
  • Identify and strengthen relationships with carrier claims departments to improve receipt, review and resolution processes with each carrier
  • Identify and resolve claim resolution issues
  • Mitigate claims for dispute
  • Identify, report and resolve claim filing issues with incorrect or incomplete claim filing information from our Clients customers
  • Identify and resolve high value claims; escalate within the Carrier Relations Team or our clients claim council hierarchy as needed
  • Meet departmental and personal KPI goals
  • Work independently and as a cohesive member of a team to maximize the efficient processing of our Clients claims
  • Other duties as assigned by authorized personnel.
