Medical Associates Health Plans has launched the Live360 Health Plans.  Live360 Health Plan offers insurance products designed to encourage the use of local providers and facilities to further coordinate care for the benefit of the community. As the Health Insurance Sales Associate, you will drive business in the Springfield, IL area and will travel in/around the territory area.

Live360 Health Plan, featuring HSHS Network, provides affordable, local, and complete 360-degree health coverage for residents in south-central Illinois. This network provides access to HSHS hospitals located in Decatur, Effingham, Springfield, O’Fallon, Litchfield, Highland, Greenville, Shelbyville, and Breese. In addition, the plan provides access to a respected network of providers including HSHS Medical Group, Prairie Cardiovascular, Springfield Clinic, SIU Medicine, and many other primary care and specialty providers in the area.


The Position:
Promote both Medicare and small group health plans products directly to individuals and employer groups. Facilitate presentations, represent Live360 Health Plans, and execute sales at meetings, in office settings, and at community establishments. Establish and maintain broker relations. Provide assistance for all Medicare projects as directed. This position does not require cold-calling. You will have a list of qualified leads and work through referrals.

This position is a start-up sales position, which requires acquiring and growing the business in the Central to Southern Illinois area.

Travel and Schedule: Travel required to designated cities in Illinois up to 50% of time (estimating ~30% day trips, ~10% overnight). You must be flexible with your schedule to reach your goals and will be responsible for scheduling meetings and travel logistics.

Training: Comprehensive training and orientation would take place during the first two weeks, then have ongoing support via team calls.
