Medical Associates Clinic offers several locations from which to seek medical care, including facilities at 1500 Associates Drive, 1000 Langworthy, and 1940 Elm Street in Dubuque, Iowa; as well as facilities in Bellevue, Cascade, Dyersville, Elkader, and Monona, Iowa; Cuba City, and Platteville, Wisconsin; and Elizabeth and Galena, Illinois.
Medical Associates is opening an Aesthetics department in January 2021, and they’re looking for a full-time Med Spa Receptionist to join their team!
Location: 1605 Associates Drive, Dubuque, IA 52002
Schedule/Hours: This position is full-time; 80 hours per pay period. Tuesday and Thursday 8:45am-7:00pm, Wednesday and Friday 8:45am-5:00pm, every other Saturday rotation 8:45am-1:00pm. Full benefits eligible!

- Laser hair removal
- Intense pulsed light treatments
- Laser skin treatments
- Non-surgical skin tightening
- Body Contouring-Cool Sculpting and Cool Tone
What you’ll be doing:
- Greet and check-in all arriving patients and ensure all transactions are done promptly and accurately
- Promote wellness through patient education and supporting the care coordination process
- Answer telephone, schedule all patient appointments, and answer any patient questions
- Handle all billing for services
- Monitor appointments to ensure they are no conflicts
- Ensure the facility is prepared for proper opening and closing
- Maintain a positive, pleasant, and helpful attitude
- Conduct self in a professional manner at all times
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education: Equivalent to a high school education.
Experience: Customer service and computer skills required. 1 year of medical, dermatology, or Med Spa office experience preferred. Knowledge of injectable Botox and Fillers, lasers, and other cosmetic treatments are a plus.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important (vendor reps, labs, offices, hospital, etc.) and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
