As a Loading Dock Technician, you are responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of all material that passes across the receiving docks.

- Operate all material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner (forklift, etc.)
- Load and Unload trailers
- Comply with all OSHA and site-specific safety and PPE requirements
- Maintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all items handled
- Maintain records and complete paperwork
- Document all items placed in trailer for shipment to customer
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned area
- Work toward continuous improvement
- Stay current with changing technology
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
Reporting to this position: No direct reports
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the Loading Dock must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and ability required.
Education/Experience:

Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Tools)
Previous customer service experience
License & Certificates: Forklift operator certification
