Occupational Therapist

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program required.
  • Current license in the state of Wisconsin as an Occupational Therapist in good standing required.
  • Must be certified with the National Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Previous Pediatric OT experience preferred.

Work Hours

Positions available:
  • Full-time (36 hours/week) Monday through Friday in our Rehab Department based in Cuba City. This position will focus on nursing home, home health and outpatient therapy.
  • Casual- to fill in as needed to assist with Nursing Home, Home Health, Southwest Behavioral Services, and Inpatient needs.

Career Ladder incentives available up to $1,500 with an additional productivity bonus.

Sign-on bonus also available.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist develops, improves, or restores skills in activities of daily living, work or productive activities, play or leisure activities for inpatients, outpatients, home health, SBS, and nursing home patients/residents. Interventions may include design, fabrication, application or training in the use of assistive technology or orthotic/prosthetic devices, application of physical agent modalities and application of ergonomic principles to the performance of occupations. Provides prevention and wellness services, including screening and health promotion.
