MercyOne offers a full range of acute care services, including invasive cardiology and open-heart surgery, Level II trauma center, Level II regional neonatal intensive care unit, general and orthopaedic surgery, psychiatric services and inpatient physical rehabilitation. MercyOne Dubuque is seeking Critical Care and Cardiovascular Services Director. This position will be responsible for leadership of the Cardiovascular, Cardiology/Cardiac Cath Lab, and Intensive Care units.
MercyOne is looking for a strong candidate with leadership experience within the Critical Care services area. The Clinical Director ensures an effective departmental structure, inclusive decision-making, creative and supportive policies, and professional models of care that promote excellent patient services. Working for MercyOne requires an interactive management style and the development of strong relationships among nursing and others throughout the organization and community while demonstrating our mission, vision and culture.
- Must hold an active license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa
- Master's degree in nursing is required
- Must be certified by a nationally recognized nursing organization in nursing administration and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN)
