Position Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm
Responsible for the coordination of environmental safety program and assisting in project delivery at MercyOne. This position is located in MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center campuses but has responsibility for the Eastern Iowa Region (Dubuque, Clinton, and Dyersville).
High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred, or 5 or more years in the Hospital related Safety or Facilities program. Certified Healthcare Safety Professional preferred or completed within 1 year of hire. Experience in project delivery and construction basic knowledge preferred. Experience with the data collection, analysis and performance improvement methodology. 30 Hours OSHA Training required within 1 year of start of employment. Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, State of Iowa and other standards/regulations. Competent in use of multiple software systems including current office products, system, occurrence reporting system, and web applications of Trinity Health and external agencies. Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire.
