Your Responsibilities

As an LPN you will provide direct patient care and perform nursing procedures under the direction of psychiatrists, ARNP’s or registered nurses.  Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting ARNP’s and registered nurses in providing quality patient care
  • Measuring vital signs
  • Updating patient health information in EHR record
  • Assisting with patient phone calls, medication refills, and pharmacy calls
  • Assisting with in-office procedures
  • Providing patient education as needed
  • Assist in developing and monitoring policies and procedures for health services to clients
  • Assist in the development of medication administration guidelines and procedures for staff to implement
  • Develop medical care plans when health issues are targeted and prioritized
  • Maintain complete and updated clinical record for each client

 

 

What You Need

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program (LPN, RN or BSN)
  • Licensed in the state of Iowa
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in time management and EHR documentation
  • Experience working with the designated population and subpopulations
  • Demonstration of a professional commitment to providing services to medically underserved individuals
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position
