Assists the director in managing, and directing Plant Engineering/Security services throughout the CHCS, as defined by the Department’s Scope of Service Statement. Assures that staff and non-payroll resources are utilized in a cost effective, productive manner and that all services are high quality and customer focused. Provides an environment that allows staff to maximize their talents through professional growth, involvement and empowerment. In doing so, the position assists the director in maintaining department's operating budget, developing goals and objectives and ensuring that services are provided in a manner consistent with the mission and philosophy of Mercy Medical Center. Maintains a secure environment at Mercy Medical Center.
Associates degree required, bachelors degree preferred.
Two years or more of supervisory experience preferred.
Security experience preferred.
CHSP certificate within the first year of employment.
ICRA 8 hour certificate within the first year of employment.
