Work hours will be Monday - Friday, days, for 72 hours per pay period, and as needed. There are no nights or weekends. 

UnityPoint Health - Dubuque offers an outpatient Urology clinic, staffed by a board-certified urologist. This clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am-4:00 pm, along with an after-hours answering service to help address patient needs. Our clinic offers a wide array of urological services and treatment options. We evaluate and treat both adult and pediatric conditions and offer same-day appointments as needed.

Qualifications

Must hold an active RN license to practice in the state of Iowa. The position requires at least an Associate's degree in nursing. RN employees are required to have or obtain a BSN within five years after their start date with UnityPoint Health - Dubuque. Candidates with previous clinic or urology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Clinic RN will function within the specialty of Urology as a clinician, educator, and resource for patients. They will be responsible for performing and assisting the providers with in-office procedures, telephone triage, and direct patient appointments and referrals. The RN will assist in the patient rooming process, perform point-of-care lab testing, document appropriate information into the patient's electronic medical record using standardized workflows and processes. Ensure chart preparation is accurate and completed for upcoming clinics, schedule appropriate procedures and referrals, and pre-authorize with insurance companies.
