Job Overview

WHO WE ARE

Cartegraph builds safer, more resilient, and more sustainable communities through better stewardship of critical infrastructure. We design, build, and sell powerful, intuitive software solutions that help local government agencies, utilities, and educational institutions manage their physical assets and associated operations. With Cartegraph, users optimize the performance of their assets, drive efficiencies, maximize resources, and reduce costs through smarter, data-driven decisions.

JOB SUMMARY

Cartegraph is seeking a talented, motivated Software Test Engineer Intern to QA enterprise web and mobile applications for high-performance organizations. You’ll collaborate with a wicked smart team to build cutting-edge products that are changing the way our world runs.

You’ll be learning how to test web applications using modern tools and frameworks—including Angular, TypeScript, and Ionic. Our back-end is C# .NET with SQL Server. We automate everything from check-in to deployment, employing Agile DevOps principles. You’ll also work with the latest tools like Azure DevOps, GIT and Cypress to create user experiences our customers will love.

THE WORK YOU WILL DO

  • You’ll work with and learn from a crack team of Software Test Engineers.
  • You’ll work with technologies, like Cypress, Microsoft SQL Server and Azure DevOps Test Hub.
  • You’ll work with a small close-knit Agile team that includes Developers, Testers, Business Analysts and UX Designers.
  • Design and build manual and automated testing plans.
  • Perform application, security, regression, load and performance-level tests.
  • You’ll be encouraged to share and learn with others across multiple teams.
  • You’ll participate in lively technology discussions where your opinion is truly valued.
  • You’ll eat, sleep, and breathe the tenets of outstanding UX and UI.
  • You’ll floor everyone with a barrage of fresh ideas and the future of technology.
  • You’ll constantly brag to your friends about how much your summer internship rules.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • You’re currently enrolled in a QA, IT, or MIS degree program.
  • You’re ready to get your hands dirty with manual and automated testing.
  • Your passion for QA and innovation is paired with a desire to learn.
  • You have interest or experience in agile development concepts and not “over the wall” testing.
  • You’re organized, love details, manage your time well, and you stand behind your work.

There’s no good reason not to work here.

  • Opportunities to apply your skills and experiences with an established industry leader
  • Collaborative work environment
  • Co-workers with a passion for what they do
  • Casual work environment
  • Competitive pay
  • Social events, coffee and snacks, foosball and more...
