This position is eligible for a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Work hours will be 11:00 am - 11:00 pm, for 72 hours per pay period, and as needed You will be required to flex to othe shifts as needed. This position does have weekday call and weekend rotation of call and work.

Qualifications

Must hold an active license to practice nursing in the state of Iowa. The position requires at least an Associate's degree in nursing. RN employees are required to have or obtain a BSN within five years after their start date with UnityPoint Health - Finley Hospital.

Responsibilities

Plans and directs the nursing care for patients, coordinating care in collaboration with other health care professionals. Interprets patient information and makes critical decisions about needed actions. Duties include assessing patients prior to surgery and alleviating their concerns; gathering supplies needed for the operation; and assuming responsibility of keeping the operating room a sterile environment. Demonstrates competence in infection control techniques in the OR per AORN standards.  Demonstrates competence in use of intra-operative equipment.
