Work hours will be evenings, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, for 24 hours per pay period, and as needed. You will be required to flex to other shifts as needed. There is a holiday and a every other weekend rotation.
Resource staff float to 4 Med/Surg, 5 Med/Surg, 5 North, Acute Rehab, ICU, Behavioral Health, and, on rare occasion, may assist in the Emergency Dept. and the Pain Clinic.

Qualifications
High School diploma or GED is required. Also must be active on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry OR must be at a Junior status or higer in an accredited nursing program.
Responsibilities
The Patient Resource Tech role at Finley is a CNA role, which assists with patient bathing, takes vitals, performs blood sugar finger sticks, assists patients with eating, passes and picks up trays, answers call lights, and assists nurses as needed. This position will also be cross-trained for the tele-sitter role. A tele-sitter is responsible for watching a monitor with capability to see views from 6 cameras that are placed in patient rooms to monitor patient safety.
