Job Specifications

CNC Set-Up and Operate are responsible for executing production requirements by setting-up and running CNC metal processing machines. This position sets up & operates production CNC machines while maintaining production quality standards and requirements. CNC Set-Up & Operate procures raw materials and gauging, assures a quality “first piece” through use of CMM or other measuring tools/gauges. They are responsible for programing CNC equipment while producing/testing product per product and process documentation. Participates in maintaining the company’s quality system and adheres to standard operating procedures as applicable.

Skill Set

  • High school diploma or general education development (GED) required.
  • CNC Machining Certificate is a plus
  • Ability to use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers and various gauges.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability use production information systems
  • Ability to write CNC programs is a plus
  • High mechanical and technical skills
  • Full comprehensive training program
