The City of Dubuque invites applications for a full time Budget/Financial Analyst with a Budget Focus. The Budget/Financial Analyst will examine budget estimates using procedures and regulations; analyze budget and accounting reports; perform budgeting, performance measurement and lead analyst duties; and provide complex technical staff assistance to department leadership. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, Financial Mathematics or related field; or any combination of related education and experience are required. The successful candidate will possess the ability to follow a management philosophy that is input oriented and values equity, problem solving and the development of partnerships; and the desire to be part of an organization that values service, people, integrity, responsibility, innovation and teamwork. In addition to an annual salary range of $61,297-$80,225, an attractive benefits package including twelve weeks of paid parental leave is offered.
