Job Overview

At Clarke University, everything we do is focused on making an impact on students so they can positively impact the world. For students, providing a place where more than facts are studied – it means new ways of thinking are explored. For faculty and staff, it means more than just coming to work every day – it means collaborating across the university to put student success first. It also means living and working in a thriving city named one of the “most livable” small cities in the country and one of “Best Green Places” in the country.

The Health, Wellness and Behavioral Sciences Department invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Psychology, set to begin August 2022. The successful candidate will teach courses that meet major and university requirements, such as Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Research Methods, Close Relationships, and Psychology of Women. Although Clarke University prioritizes teaching in the liberal arts tradition, evidence of professional activity and service – including advising – are expected. The successful candidate may also be asked to serve as department chair.
