Job Overview

Employee-owned Woodward Communications, Inc. (WCI) invites all qualified candidates to consider our newly created Project Accountant opportunity.  The Project Accountant will assist Corporate Financial Services with accounting activities such as tracking capital asset purchases, budgeting, healthcare plan reporting, government reporting, business insurance, property taxes, government reporting, financial closing and reporting, and tax return support.

WCI is offering this part-time position, 20-25 hours per week, that allows for a flexible schedule and a hybrid work location option (alternating corporate office/home office) after a period of onboarding and on-the-job training. Part-time positions are eligible for 401(k), Employee Stock Ownership Plan and accrued/paid vacation.

Qualified candidates will have an accounting education; a minimum of one year of work experience in an accounting/financial environment; and skilled in the basics of general accounting and financial operations.
