Job Overview

RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR:

A local care facility is looking for a Human Resource Recruitment Coordinator. Qualified candidates must be able to perform duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: employee recruitment and retention, affirmative action and employment equity program.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree preferred or the equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create necessary reports in regard to staffing needs.
  • Conduct all aspects of recruitment for all exempt and nonexempt personnel.
  • Write and place advertisements.
  • Conduct new-employee orientation program.
  • Assist Department Managers in the determination of the staffing requirements for all departments as necessary to insure that resident needs are met.
  • Work with Human Resources Director in identifying staff training needs.
  • Provide input to the performance appraisal process.
  • Responsible for maintaining all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies.
  • Maintain employee personnel files.
  • Conduct exit interview, analyze data and make recommendations to the Human Resources Director for corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance, monitoring and updating I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification log; maintain files for I-9 forms.
  • Help maintain Human Resource System records and compile reports from database.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
