Direct Hire Opportunity

The Financial Analyst is an individual contributor role responsible for supporting corporate Financial Analysis & Reporting needs across a construction company comprised of multiple business entities employing workers in the Greater Dubuque area. This opportunity will report directly to the CFO and be a primary assistant to the CFO.

What you get to do: Supports the CFO and Finance team with departmental functions to include, but not limited to:

• Preparation of budgets and monitoring budget expenditures
• Create financial statements
• Supports monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Prepares technical worksheets, tables and computations; establishes and maintains databases within the department 
• Develop and enhance forecasting templates, metrics, reporting templates and variance reporting to proactively analyze business and trends reports

What we need from you:

• Demonstrated financial acumen, accuracy and timeliness.
• Processing Payroll experience
• Ability to effectively work with and present data in a comprehensive, coherent manner.
• Ability to work in conjunction/communicate effectively with functional peers and operational leaders.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience within construction industry and/or field service organizations.
