Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide executive, administrative, and clerical support to the Director of LIFE
- Coordinate special projects for which the Director of LIFE is responsible
- Perform other duties in support of the University’s Mission
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree along with 5 years administrative office experience is required, in a higher education setting is preferred. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Ability to use a high level of discretion and maintain confidential information
- Must be able to take initiative, prioritize, and complete work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented office
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail; flexibility in adjusting to changing priorities; and ability to multi-task simultaneous projects is required
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with team members, other university departments, and external partners
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule with evening hours and overtime if necessary
- Occasional travel may be required
